Riding Positions

Below we have listed general riding position for most clubs and organization ride often so that you will learn the different practices with different organizations.

Most riding groups positions are as follows:

Road Captain will be in front with the President to his side and behind in the other side of the lane.

Behind the Road Captain and the President will be the Vice President and the Sergeant's at Arms.

Behind the Sergeants At Arms will be all of the Road Guards no matter how many there are.

Behind the Road Guards will be the Patched Members of the organization.
The two riders behind the Road Guards will leave their positions open so that they can return to their positions after securing an intersection.

Finally behind the Patched Members, will be all Non-Patched members and visitors.

The only Patched Member riding behind the Non Patched riders will be the Drag Man.

This is a general practice of a lot of different groups weather they are a MC, RC or Association. But they will vary so best practice is to take part in the Pre-ride briefing.
