Road Captain's Hand Signals

In this section we will demonstrate each of the Road Captain's hand signals for the following tasks:

It is also the duties of the Road Captain to check all bikes before the ride and determine that they are in good riding order. He will check things such and tires, parts safely attached to bike. If road Captain determines a bike is not safe to ride he may ask the rider to fall out of the ride or ride at a distance from the group. The overall safety of the group is the most important thing not weather a person gets to ride. This may vary from group to group, do the right thing, keep you bike in top working order.

It is absolutely essential that all of these hand signals be relayed throughout the group whether they are to the drag man or relaying a message up to the Road Captain.

You can also see the Hand Signal page.
