Staggered and
Parade Formations
When riding in the Staggered Formation
there are no riders beside you, directly in front of you, or
immediately behind you.
This formation allows the rider flexibility in maneuvering around
hazards and obstacles without the danger of hitting another rider.
This is the recommended primary formation of any groups that are not
use to riding together or groups with inexperienced riders.
The secondary formation utilized by us is
the Parade Formation.
The Parade Formation is used at speeds below 25 MPH and
in parades. You will often see some groups ride in this formation at
all times but this is not recommended.
In Parade formation the riders are side by side in the same lane. You
should do your best to stay completely even with the bike next to you.
